Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Website
The goals for this website redesign were to create a user-friendly site structure and navigation while reflecting the innovative and contemporary visual style of the airport brand. We reduced the site’s number of top-level menu choices from an unwieldy 20+ to five easy-to-understand main sections.
Equine.com Website
The original Equine.com site reflected its origin as an online classifieds site: It was utilitarian but not particularly user-friendly, nor did it represent the premium service that Equine.com had become. We reorganized the site, designed the user interactions following best practices of well-known online merchants, and applied a visual style that appealed to horse owners and enthusiasts.
Bring Back Blue Air Quality Website
To help Maricopa County, which includes the major metropolis of Phoenix, Arizona, communicate to citizens about their role in keeping our air clean, we developed the positive theme “Bring Back Blue” and created informative and captivating materials, including TV commercials, radio spots, brochures, and this highly interactive website with up-to-the-minute air quality advisories, an online pledge, sweepstakes, and more.
Gear.com Print Ads
Gear.com is an online discount retailer of outdoor gear and apparel. Because Gear.com is a clearance outlet with an ever-changing inventory, our challenge was to create ads for categories of products – ski equipment, fitness apparel, mountain bikes – without naming or displaying specific brands or models. Our theme suggested that by buying from Gear.com you could try a sport or outdoor recreation activity without spending big bucks. These ads ran in outdoor and fitness magazines including Outside, Shape, and Backpacker. (Eventually, as you can see, they had inventories large enough that we could show products. Hurrah!)
